Wow its been a while

Its about time I updated . Lets see what’s been going one around here? Well I have finely gotten a new camera. Yay. Its nothing flash just a point and shoot for now till I can save up to get a better one but hay I’m just happy to have a camera again. Happy early Christmas to me!

What else have I done? Well I have made all my Christmas decoration nice and early instead of leaving them till a week before the tree goes up like I normally do (meaning they don’t get made because I run out of time. lol) I know there not very Christmassy in the typical sense but in this house we don’t have a nice colour coordinated tree at all we have every colour of the rainbow on it.


Made out of cd’s I only did the first letter of everyone’s name because well I just didn’t have enough room to put the whole names. Although I still need to do mine but I couldn’t find the M for Mum I may need to just do a J instead. I think they look good. It was funny looking back at some of the ones I did a few years ago. I have come a long way since then lol.


These next two LOs I did for scrap bookers challenge on bebo , not very happy with it the first one but it done now the was going to be a couple more photos on it but my almost 4 year old got to them with my scissors and well I’m sure you can imagine the rest.

This one was a challenge with fabric I have never used fabric before on a LO so it was a little hard I did stuff it up a bit because I wasn’t going to put flowers on it at all but I had to hide my stuff up..lol all in all I don’t think it looks to bad really

And last but not least I made a card my first one ever!!! I have since made a few more still not sure about the whole card making thing but I have found it’s a good way toy use up all the scrapes hanging around.

U make me LOL

This was again the only crafty thing I did all weekend. Photo taken of my son buy my son the boy takes better photos than I do…lol and just so you know he was trying to be a ninja.

I all so went to my sons school gala this weekend and got lots of really cool things including 6 photo frames that will be great for altering for $1.50 and some canvases for a $1.00 so it was a really good score. So keep you eyes peeled for some altered frames very soon.

Wow my big boy is nine

My big boy is nine! I don’t know where the time has gone He has just grown up so fast. We didn’t have a party this year only every second year in this house. When I asked Vinnie what kind of cake he wanted, he simply wanted a chocolate cake in the shape of a nine covered with choc icing and lollies. So that’s what we made he was so happy and he loved his present this year instead of getting him a heap of toys we went for a WWE TV/DVD player and a couple of DVD's he says its his most favourite part of his birthday.

For dinner it was up to him, I honestly thought he was going to say Mc Donald’s or something like that but no not my boy he wanted to go to a restraint called breakers. It was great the kids where so well behaved it just toped of what was all ready a great day for all our family.

My little pudding pop

Ok this is my latest LO it’s the only thing crafty I have done all weekend. I have done this for bebo scrapbookes.

My little pudding pop Annabel I don’t know why I have started calling her this but it seems to be her new nick name…take note I have done some journaling and it wasn’t to scary…lol it just says how I call her this and no matter how old she gets it will always be that way.

Journaling. Not a fan

Dose anyone else hate it ….I am not a fan of journaling at all I don’t like my writing, I cant spell to save myself and I never know what to say. I’m not the best with words they don’t flow for me very well…lol (as you can tell) so I have decided to challenge my self, one out of every three LO’s I do must have journaling on it. I did one the other day but I cheated a little and used a poem that I printed out on nice paper…..dose that count?

Not that I can show anyone my work my camera has died …:( I don’t know why but the stupid thing just wont turn on . I have my Mums camera here but for some reason I cant get the thing to load my photos onto the pc. GRRR

Weekend efforts

Well it wasn’t as big of a weekend as I had planed but I had fun all the same and I got to use some of my new goodies. we where out most of Sunday visiting the family but I did manage to get a bit of crafting done two LO’s and a altered tin I did for a friend of mine that has just had a baby …






This first lo was done for bebo scrabookers challenge single page LO using 2 photos one photo bigger than the other. Photo must be of an object not a person

And the last page I finished very late on Sunday night. photo of my little girl Annabel at 6 days old . When I first did this Lo I wasn’t really happy with it but I have found the more I look at it the more I like it.

Big weekend planed

Well I have a pile of new scrap stuff to work with so I am planning a big crafty weekend, hubby will be home this weekend so I’m hoping he will take all the kids away for a while so I can get some work done. I have lots of little projects I want to get done a altered note book a couple of Los I might even try and get a mini book done but that might be pushing it a bit.

I am all so very excited I have submitted a off the page item to a scrap booking mag. This is the first time I have submitted anything so I’m a little nervous. I don’t think it will get in but I’m happy and excited all the same…lol I will post a photo as soon as I know it didn’t get in but in till then you will just have to wait…lol

All so I am a moderator at a scrap booking bebo group each week there is a scrap challenge and we all so have off the page challenges and ATC swaps if you are interested in joining please come along. We have RAKs to give away some weeks (not all) but we would like more participation.

Boys weekend

As some of you may know I have recently had a little baby girl after 3 boys. I have been so raped up in pink paper, pink ribbons, pink flowers, pink everything that my boys have been getting a little neglected in my scrapbooks. So I decided that this weekend was going to be a boys weekend I managed to get 3 LOs done but I think I have lost my scrap mojo where my boys are concerned. I just can't do a descent boy LO to save myself …lol




The first LO is of my 18 month old Alex playing peek a boo in my washing, in hindsight the paper I used wasn’t the best because the title and everything blends in a bit.

This LO is of all 3 of my boys wrestling as boys do.

YAY me i did it

Ok well I did it I used one of the papers I have been holding off of using and I think it looks rather good ..I decided to do a LO of me because well I just don’t do LO’s of me at all and since I fell in love with this paper I thought it was appropriate




Ok so I haven’t really mastered the art of taking pics to show the poppy up bits yet…lol



This is another LO I did this weekend for the bebo challenge. I’m not very happy with this one thou so this could change very soon I just don’t know yet. btw on this LO i used rubons that have been sitting there forever just screaming to be used but i keeped on chicken out.

Getting over the fear

I don’t know if anyone will know what I’m talking about , but I have certain papers, rubons, flowers and other bits and bobs that I’m am to scared to use. Some paper I have had sitting there for 2 years that I just can bring myself to use because I’m to scared ill mess it up so I have decided that this weekend that is all going to change. I am challenging myself and anyone else how wants to do it. To use the paper and other bits and bobs you have been to scared to use. So get creative and brave . I will post pics after the weekend …let hope I have pics to post and don’t chicken out…lol

back from camp

Well it been almost a week since I got back from scrap camp so I think its about time I updated this…lol

First off scrap camp was great I had a blast Tracy and Kris where everything I thought they where going to be (crazy) and it was so much fun. The nights where late and little drunken but there was lots of talking going on. I was surprised we got any work done at all ..lol

Scrap Camp!!!

With just two more sleeps left I’m all packed and ready to go to scrap camp , I only wish I was leaving now…lol I’m so excited about this weekend not only will I be crafting all most all weekend but I get to meet Tracy and Kris. I meet them both on the Trade Me massage boards and we became friends soon after I’m so excited to see them in person. and not just words on the computer screen. I’m also excited to talk to other people about scraping and stuff like that , none of my friends craft and well I'm not very good at meeting new people, something I have to remedy.

Any way I will post some pics when I get back to show you all what we made and other stuff.

Big weekend

Well what a big weekend , well for me anyway not only did I get to set up my new desk but I also got three LOs done and a ATC holder, now for me that is big …lol I’m lucky to get one LO done a week let alone three.

what a score

What a great score I have been wanting a new scrap desk for a long time now and while surfing Trade me a week ago I came across the perfect desk and so cheap so I added said desk to my watch list and waited and waited everyday when I logged in my first stop was to see if anyone had bided on it. Then yesterday my waiting was over the auction was closing and I had made a bid all I had to do was wait and hope I was the only person bidding. And what do you know I was. So I sent hubby off to pick up my beautiful desk and well lets just say he was not happy when he arrived home. the desk is twice the size we thought it was going to be and it wont fit where I was going to put it. Oh well these things happen I guess I will have to keep my scrap stuff in the lounge after all.

well i have done it.

Well I have done it . I don’t really know why but I have gone and got me a blog . I don’t really have much to say about anything but I suppose I’ll just ramble on to myself and hope that someone else out there may listen. As soon as I sort it out I will add some photos of some of my scrapbook pages and other projects I have done.
